This product is just great. I love my (Purple) USB Hub Octopus. This Octopus may only have 4 legs instead of the standard ‘real’ aquatic Octopus (smile), but its ports (instead of tenticles) get the job done.

I love the fact that the legs are flexible. Some of the standard multiple hubs are so close together, that because of certain designed Flash Drives they cannot fit vertically or horizontally side by side without butting into one another. For that reason, the Octopus is the perfect choice for me. I can just grab an Octopus arm (gently of course), and plug in whatever USB I need to do the job.

Thanks for such an ingenius product that is fun for kids and adults alike. Oh, and because I am a female, I named mine, “Patty” (the Purple Octopus), aka “Pattypus” (for short). She’s looking at me right now as a matter of fact, and is very happy to be here too. All ‘kidding’ aside. Thanks!

It looks cool and all of my USB cables plugged in and worked. No batteries

or power needed and it frees up ports for me to use other USB connectors on

my laptop. Good product and great price.

This USB hub is not only functional but very cute. I’ve been annoyed with switching out my printer cable/external hard drive/etc and this octopus has done nothing but relieve that annoyance. I run Linux and have had no issues with the hub thus far. No software to install, just plug one leg into your computer and plug your other products into the octopus and you’re set. Couldn’t ask for a better product. You’ll love it!

When I was looking for a new USB hub, I ran across this item and thought it would just fit the bill. It was inexpensive, had room for four USB connections, and what fun to have it available as a cute little purple octopus with wiggly eyes.

When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the small but very user friendly size. Because of the generous length of the “arms”, it was large enough to easily fit all the USB connectors without any crowding. There is a small red light on the top of the head that is not at all intrusive, just bright enough to let you know it is working.

It is really easy to find it amongst the rest of my cables. It allows me to have all 4 of my external drives on one hub. There is enough room on the arm connectors to label them with the drive number or other information.

It’s also nice to know that should you need more hubs, this product is also available in black and white so that you can color code your devices. For instance, you could use black for printers, purple for hard drives and white for flash drives, cameras or other devices. This would make it very easy to find just which device you need, especially if you labeled the connections. If it had a loop on the top, you could hang all your octopi on the wall where they would easily be available for switching devices or just to enjoy as a fun “art piece”.

The cord is long enough to run from the floor to my laptop with length to spare and the connections are firm and secure.

I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Once you have it plugged into your computer there is no more reaching behind your computer to plug in the usb. Also it is a bit more flexible if you have things on either side of your computer. The “legs” on it allow it reach towards the devises, instead of it being stationary and all the devices reaching for it. I found the “legs” made it easier to plug in the devices I could position it more easily than the regular hubs which has so many plug ins on either side and you have to try to position the usb plugs to plug into the box.
