What can I say? Possibly the best mouse ever? Well I don’t know this is only my second one. I decided to buy it since the mouse that came with my computer 2 years ago seemed to be defective since the beginning and worsened over time. I couldn’t take it. I didn’t know what to look for in a mouse or which to buy. I loved the price and 5 stars for average rating of customers, what the heck, let’s give this mousy a try. And I’m glad I did. As soon as I plugged it in, huge difference. It definantly does as you wish. I love the webwheel feature. When you’re on the web and click on the scroll button, this wheel comes out on the screen, and you can use the back, forward, stop, refresh, bookmark button, and I think more just from the wheel. Great feature for sure. It glides so smoothly, and no pesky little ball at the bottom of the mouse to interfere. Personally I like the glowing red light at the bottom of the mouse everytime it’s in use. Also, it has a lot of helpful content and offers that come with the software, which can be disabled if it gets on your nerves. Give this mouse a try. Take care.

I bought this mouse thinking I’d probably end up replacing it with a more expensive Microsoft optical Intellimouse… 20 bucks for an optical mouse, I figured it’d probably make it 6 months and die on me.
It’s been almost 2 years…I’m still using my logitech optical ’cause it does everything I need it to! It responds well, it’s comfortable to use, and I haven’t had a days problem with it! The scroll wheel also makes scanning webpages and lists a lot easier.
Also, the fact it comes with a PS/2 adapter has saved me some grief (and more than a couple bucks) with my KVM switch (a switch that allows for multiple computers to hook up to one keyboard, mouse and keyboard).
If you’re looking for a great little mouse that holds up really well, look no further… you’ve found it!

I’ve had my Logitech Optical Mouse for 2 years now, have used it on 2 different computers and 3 operating systems and have had a total of 0 (zero) problems. I always use the USB interface, they OS (Win98, WinME, XP Pro) instantly recognizes the mouse and it works right away.
No moving parts, so there is nothing to wear out (except the little feet pad on the bottom). The wheel works well with all of my software.
A great device for the price!

Just like most of the other reviewers I was sick of my “ball” mouse getting gunk in it. Sure, I could open it up and clean it, but all of the gunk never seemed to come out. Finally, I just got fed up with it. After reading reviews on optical mice on the cheaper end of the spectrum I ended up getting this one. I love it! I do a lot of photo editing with Photoshop and you need to have an acurate mouse. Before it was a pain to do close-up editing. Now it’s a piece of cake. This mouse, as of yet doesn’t have any of the problems jumping around the screen that other op-mice have. The only “problem” is getting used to how fast it moves because movement isn’t dependent upon the friction of the ball against the mouse pad. After just 24 hrs, though, I’m over that lil problem.

~ ~ Between my old beloved Macintosh, and my new PC, I must have gone through 10 Mouses (Mice?).
Each one, no matter what brand, ended up getting “stuck”- the ball inside that guides the mouse’s
movement, would stop rolling smoothly. I’m willing to share some of the blame, occasionally I have
nicotine fit while working, and I know the ashes spell death to the Mouse’s performance. The same problem
occurs with the sticky fingers the kids sometimes have when using the computer.
~ ~ I do a lot of amateur photo-editing. (Adobe Photoshop and less expensive, Photodeluxe are great!) This
means that having a mouse with really precise and accurate tracking is absolutely vital! I was a little
skeptical about the optical mouse, but I bought this Logitech basic optical mouse on sale.
It is wonderful. I can even notice the difference in the wonderfully precise movements when I play simple
online games like “Collapse” and “Bounce Out”.
~ ~ For any work that requires precise cursor movement (Photo-editing, Illustration, fast-paced Games), this
mouse is terrific. I’ve had it for 2 months now. A normal mouse would have required at least 2 cleanings of
the inner ball mechanism, but the Mouse hasn’t let me down yet.
I highly recommend the Logitech Optical Mouse as an inexpensive investment, which will greatly improve
the way you succeed with many of your applications. This purchase was a winner!
