I run this program with Windows XP so I had no problen installing and running the program, however you do need a good graphic card installed to use this product.

I enjoy using the Esky simulator. I have had RC flying experience so it was rather easy to use. A beginner to RC will have a lot of crashes but with a little practice they can overcome this. After all, it’s better to crash on the computer then at a flying field with the real thing, a lot cheaper too. The difference to using the simulator as to being at a flying site is your angle of view. Using the simulator you have to fly low at half throttle to see obstacles, the horizon and where to land the plane. That can be rather difficult compared to actual flying at a flying field.

The software included is rather poor and simple and only has a couple of planes you can actually fly. I didn’t try the Helicopters as they don’t interest me. I would suggest purchasing a add on simulator program with added planes and backgrounds.

For the price I would recommend this product. I cannot see how a more expensive one would do any more for you. Amazon delivery was great.

And last: The simulator is very useful during the winter months when your not flying as it keeps you in practice at the controls for the next flying season.

It is very good at teaching u how to get used to the feel of an rc airplane or helicopter. However the program is very basic. With a patch i am able to run it on vista but for some reason it has no sound and i can only fly in the first area. But anyway it fullfils its purpose and thats about it.

I ordered this program so I could learn to fly an RC plane before purchasing an actual plane. It only took a few days to get to my house, but as I am an impatient person, I also kept searching and found a downloadable program that offers a free trial. When I did get the program and tried to install it onto my computer, I could not get it to work. I have Vista, so as a previous reviewer stated, maybe I needed to install a patch. I am not much of a computer person so could not figure it out. I was able to open the program and view the available models (and I was not impressed)but could not get the program to fly any of them. Since I didn’t have an RC remote to hook up to the computer, I did use the ESky remote and it works very well. As far as the actual programs, I really like the program that I downloaded very much. It is called ClearView and has a large variety of planes, helis and even a few cars (but the cars are cheesy). It also has several realistic flying sites and playgrounds. It cost $40 tor the full version but I think it was worth it. Like I said, I feel the purchase was worth it for the remote to hook up to the computer, but the software gave me problems because my computer has Vista. I highly recommend Clearview as far as software goes and especially if you already have a cord to connect an existing remote to the computer as it is an instant download and has a really good variety. Hope this is helpful to others.
