We bought 3 of these Kindle 2 USB cable to have as spares since more often than not we were forgetting to pack the original one when going on trips. Now we put one in each car and in a pocket of our suitcase and know that we will have one when we arrive.
The cables are about 3′ long and seem to have good quality connectors on the USB and Kindle plugs. The wire is a little thin, but I have no reason to suspect that there will be any problems.

i moved and can’t find my charger. i purchased this to use as charger from Kindle to pc. worked great!

1st I waited for this cord for 2 weeks when it finally arrived it didn’t work. I had my Kindle pluged it for a full 24 hours and nothing still dead. I guess you get what you pay for. Just chopped it up as a lost being the cord only cost me 2 bucks.
