I transferred 1GB worth of 225 files to it in 5 minutes (average of 3.3MB/sec) and copied them back in 50 seconds(avg 20MB/sec). The case is the annoying swivel type (see the video) with only a clip for your shirt pocket, no ring. The write protect switch is a small DIP switch that will need a paper clip to operate, I’m not sure if that can stand to be operated on a daily basis. It’s not bad, just kind of flimsy.

Simple – you will lose your data if you use this drive.
My drive failed after about 6 months. I had to pay to send it in (Ritek initially requested I pay both send and return fees). Ritek just reformatted it and returned it unfixed. Plus the data recovery they used only recovered the small files and everything was out of order, with the generic file names (recovery1.doc, ect.) I sent it back (they paid for it the second time) – so far no response.
