In all of the years that we’ve made purchases through Amazon, I’ve never left a “feedback” comment until now. Concerning this product, I emailed to ask the seller about the lateness/non-delivery of this item more than once. At one point, the seller stated that there were production problems, so I said I’d allow more time. I later asked for an update. No response. I then asked the seller for a refund. No response. Now, my time to make an Amazon claim has run out, which is my fault. But, the seller’s problem with “square dealing” is his fault.

Amazing amazon still leaves this up here… these jokers have been taking orders and shipping them 10+ months later, if you’re lucky…and when you get it, you get a black joystick with a white cable soldered onto it.. brilliant. Oh, you wanted the BLACK one like the picture? Oh, well you can send it back to us on your dime and we will take the thing apart and solder the wires back on with a new black cable…when we feel like it…and send it back to you. You’re probably not in a hurry since you’ve already demonstrated you like waiting 10 months, so we’ll take our time doing this too. Don’t rush the creators, they are highly coveted in the community and do not have time for silly things like product distribution and customer relations – everyone should know that and understand their situation.

As I write this my thumb muscle is sore from playing 2 hours straight! It took a while to receive the product (due to the unforeseen circumstance of its owner), but it was so worth the wait. The craftsmanship is superb and the unit is sturdy for intense gameplay. Plug n Play – it works perfectly and I have been transported back in time to 8-bit gaming!
I highly recommend this joystick to anyone who wants to relieve gaming in the 80’s!

It took a really long time to receive my order, but I found out the guy who makes these had several heart operations and even still never gave up on his product. So once it arrived, I was wowwed to no end, this joystick makes games fun again and was well worth the long, but patient wait, I hope they become available again, I wish I had bought a few more, thank you.

Read the post regarding the negative customer experince – Just wanted to jump in and calm everyone’s nerves – I have the product in-hand and it is outstanding. PLEASE be patient. I just received it and couldn’t be happier. Man, opening it was like Christmas morning.
The designer/business owner/ guru got dealt a really tough hand, and I promise you is reliable and forthcoming. Production delays occurred during a perfect storm where he had to undergo his third open heart surgery in a short window of time. This is a small business, and his site [...] provided several updates. The gentleman’s main focus has been and should be recovery.
Everyone should be receiving their joys — the important thing here is a.) a vital member of the retrogaming community is alive and recovering and b.) when you get this, you are going to be VERY PLEASED. It’s everything you love about the classic stick, minus everything that made you want to chuck it out the window. Plus, it’s mod-able. Just a seriously well-engineered, thoughtful design — and man, it’s beautiful.
So — Curt – GET BETTER SOON BRO! Thank you, and everyone — a little more patience and you will be rewarded HANDSOMELY!
