This USB Cable for Nikon CoolPix did not work on my L5 Camera. It was a waste of my time and money

The custom Nikon USB cables work as expected. I mean a cable either will or will not connect my camera with the computer. I was not pleased that Nikon chose to design their camera to take only a custom USB instead of a standard USB mini, because I have plenty of standard mini USB cables. So when I lost the Nikon cable on a trip, I had to wait until these new cables arrived before I could download my photos to my computer. I bought two, in case I loose another while traveling. (Once burned, twice cautious.)
As for my purchase experience, the cost including shipping and handling was comparible to other dealers and the delivery time was great. Or, at least the cables seemed to arrive faster than I expected. I was a happy camper when they arrived!
