The RAI-Pro USB Interface connects either the OWI-535 Robotic Arm Edge ™ or OWI-007 Robotic Arm Trainer to a Windows PC USB port. Robotic arm is jumper selectable on the PC board. Two complete software packages, one for each OWI robotic arm is included on the CD-ROM. The software allows users real time interactive control, as well as script writing software. The built-in interactive script writer allows the user to write a script as they control the arm using the windows interface. A script may contain up to 99 individual robotic arm functions (including pauses) into a single file. Script files may be saved and loaded back from disk. Does not include Robotic Arm. For Windows XP/Vista. Includes CD-ROM and USB Cable.

If you plan on getting this for Christmas beware. I ordered the USB controller back in mid-november and I am still waiting from Edmund Scientific to ship this order. Amazon does an outstanding job at shipping. But this is not the case for Edmund.
I also ordered the robotic arm from Amazon at the same time. I received it promptly on november 25th.
I also placed an order directly with Edmund Scientifc that same week. Again that order took forever to arrive in Standard shipping. I sense a pattern here with this vendor.
I talked to Edmunds’ shipping staff last week. Although the gentlemen was courteous and professional, their service is extremely slow. Again beware if you are ordering a gift from this vendor.
I originally had planned to give the Robotic arm and the USB controller as a set to my son on his birthday. Needless to say I had to make other plans. I hope I can give him this set for Christmas. It does not look good though.
I will update this review when my son has a chance to play with the set.
