I am satisfied with my Patriot USB Flash Drive. My intent was to use this flash drive for Boost memory. My desktop PC has USB1 ports on the front of the box, which don’t apply to Ready Boost. You will need USB2 ports, which are many times faster than USB1.
My PC has the USB2 ports on the rear of the box as far as I can tell.
Notes: My motherboard is two years old from Gigabyte. I have a memory demanding game demo, so this drive seems useful. I’m using 2gb of DDR2 on the main board. My video card is the weak link on my Vista Experience Index at 3.7.

I have been using this for my live data files (instead of my C drive) for about 6 months and it is rock solid and fast. I wanted a Ready Boost certified drive so that I could be confident of the speed. I can recommend this flash drive.
